Adult Learning Centre

The Louis Riel Institute Adult Learning Centre is committed to assisting learners in the completion of their Mature Student High School Diploma or upgrading in order to gain admission to post-secondary institutions. Our program is open to all students who reside in Manitoba.

We offer a variety of Manitoba high school credits, both through in-person and online study options. Our school runs from September to June every year. We have continuous intake until we reach capacity. Courses are currently asynchronous and self-paced.

Monday to Friday - 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Courses are closed throughout the summer break (June-August)

All registration will be submitted online. We will be accepting registrations until March 2025 for the 2025-2026 year. Please submit your contact information to the email below for the registration form.

Programs

Mature Student High School Diploma

Are you 19 years of age or older, and have you been out of school for more than six months? If yes, then you qualify for the 8-credit Mature Student High School Diploma Program. Registration is $25.75 (non-refundable) per school year.

Post Diploma Upgrading

Are you already a high school grad, but need specific courses to further your education? If yes, then you can complete up to 4 courses at our centre. Registration is $65.75 (non-refundable).
